Celebrating Illinois Valley’s Excellence in Sports

The preservation and promotion of the local athletics history and tradition is important for any community, and the Illinois Valley is no different. Since 2019, Shaw Media has worked with the community to honor outstanding achievements of Illinois Valley’s greatest athletes.

The Hall of Fame will welcome its newest members – luminaries in local sports history, one and all – on June 12th at its 2025 induction ceremony at The Auditorium Ballroom in La Salle. Individuals and teams from the Illinois Valley will make up the Class of 2025, in addition to recipients of the Distinguished Media Award, the Lanny Slevin Lifetime Achievement Award, the Legacy Individual Award and the Legacy Team Award.
