Nominate an Illinois Valley Athlete

To be considered for Shaw Media's Illinois Valley Sports Hall of Fame, an athlete or coach must have lived in the area during his or her accomplishments or have attended an area high school and must be five years removed from high school. If they fit the criteria, all nominees are kept by Shaw Media. Annually, the Illinois Valley Sports Hall of Fame committee chooses the next class from those nominations.
